SMPA Personnel
The Board of Directors is an elected group of SMPA members who oversee the activities of the Operations Manager, appoint corporate officers as required, and shape SMPA policy as representatives of the membership at large. SMPA’s directors are:
Dan Abrams, Resident of 21st Place.
Matt Goldenberg, Resident of 24th Street.
Todd Leavitt, Chairman, Secretary, Resident of 20th Street.
Allen Nelson, Treasurer, Resident of 21st Place.
Krista Strauss, Resident of 12th Street.
President and Operations Manager Derek Johnson handles SMPA’s day-to-day activities, oversees the patrol service provider’s activities, and is accountable to the Board of Directors.
Additionally, there is a group of approximately 20 Street Representatives who carry out various regular activities throughout the year, and serve as a primary contact for non-members.
Finally, SMPA’s ADT patrol officers are on constant patrol through the neighborhood.
